Missing Memory
Mixed media, 1997/2003
In the moment of taking a photo the photographer constitutes a sequence of memory. That means he is creating a decision of a moment, which will take part of a memory in his mind. But it’s not the same for whom who was photographed. The only memories I’ll get in my mind while looking at photos of my childhood are those of the rooms, locations and things. But I don’t recall the situation where I obviously was placed.
