With House of Norway, the Museum of Applied Arts dedicated its entire exhibition space to Norway, the Guest of Honor at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2019. The exhibition brought together and mixed outstanding positions from art, design, crafts and architecture to create constellations that surprised and led to a new way of seeing invited.

In addition to works from 47 artistic and design positions, the exhibition presented 24 short films from Norway. The selection, curated by Sabine Schirdewahn, and its themes made it possible to imagine the individual reflections of the artists and designers in relation to the objective social, ecological and economic conditions that could have led to the creation of their works.
